Plants have superpowers

Motion graphics video for the research project of PlaMatSu – plamatsu.eu

Client: University of Cambridge

Some plants have superpowers. Some have the ability to repel water or undesirable guests, while some can attract insects with inviting colours. What can we learn from these plants? PlaMatSu aims to answer this question by using nature as inspiration for the development of novel materials that could revolutionize industry and our own lives.

PlaMatSu is a four-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) on Plant-inspired Materials and Surfaces. It is a collaboration between the University of Strathclyde (UK), the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the University of Freiburg (Germany) and the University of Cambridge (UK).
